Focus is voting assistance for Uniformed Service personnel, to include Wounded Warriors, and Overseas Citizens under the provisions of the Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act and the Military Overseas Voter Empowerment Act. The candidate would generate reports evaluating gaps and shortfalls in existing absentee voting policies and procedures; in particular, in consideration of disability categories and the associated impacts for Wounded Warrior personnel. Additionally, the candidate would develop database files, and supporting statistical information, identifying the demographics of Uniformed Service personnel, to include Wounded Warriors, and Overseas Citizens. Analysis will conform to the standards and guidelines outlined by the Federal Voting Assistance Program Office, the Election Assistance Commission, State and Local Election Officials, and the Office of Wounded Warrior Care and Transition Policy. The candidate will participate in required forums and be prepared for continental US and overseas travel, as required, to collect the required data. The candidate must demonstrate a superior ability to grasp complex subjects and develop simple to understand, innovative and feasible solutions in developing and supporting evolving voting assistance analysis tasks.
